Hi Reader How are you doing? I'm sure you got your 2026 dialled in. Come one, we are almost at the end of Jan 2026! I have been researching and understanding the Gen AI eco system. I think it is already here. You may wonder why all this hype. AI was always there and we were part of it (amazon recommending more products, or your incoming emails being classified into spam/not spam, etc). Top tech companies where using it for a while. The hype around AI became more because of Gen AI (Generative AI) which gave the models the power to create new content from scratch. The technology is complex. It's based on Deep learning models that has neural networks. And then it branches out into different architectures based on whether you are processing text, image, video or a combination. This is inspired by how the human brain works and the science has achieved fair amount of success. If you are not using the applications such Gemini (offered by Google, ChatGPT (offered by OpenAI), I'd highly encourage you to start exploring it. While Gen AI can do all sorts of things, try to define the use case where you are really struggling. Use it as a smart friend who knows it all and you can pick his or her brain. On a side note, while people do predict crazy things. I guess no one knows exactly where this is heading but enjoy the journey. If you have any questions, please reply to this email! As always, thanks for being awesome! Rama
